Where we are
Šilo is a seaside village on the northeast coast of the island of Krk, in Croatia. Krk is joined to the mainland by a bridge, Rijeka Airport is on the island itself, about 30 to 40 minutes by car, and a passenger catamaran crosses from Šilo to Crikvenica on the mainland in about ten minutes.
Pećine, the beach in the centre of Šilo, has sand and small pebbles and a shallow entry that suits children. Near the EcoHouse, the wild beaches of Petrina and Supovica are a hike away through the countryside.
